With decades of combined experience in the construction industry, our Executive Team is committed to upholding the values of integrity, quality, and customer satisfaction that have defined KCSI since its founding. Their leadership ensures every project is executed with precision, attention to detail, and a steadfast focus on exceeding client expectations.
KCSI was founded in 1996 by Kay & Dave, which is a family-owned, faith-based business working in central Ohio and surrounding areas. He has been in the commercial construction industry since 1986. Dave started KCSI with the belief that quality workmanship, attention to details and, above all, customer service are the key factors in building a successful company. His development and construction resume includes the construction of large commercial buildings, manufacturing and warehouse facilities, mixed-use urban office complexes and retail centers.
With his broad construction knowledge, Dave brings the necessary skills to the development and successful outcome of every KCSI project. As the company’s President, Dave also provides the necessary leadership and guidance in establishing the company’s goals, direction and procedures.
KCSI was founded in 1996 by Dave & Kay, which is a family-owned, faith-based business working in central Ohio and surrounding areas. Her day-to-day duties included supporting and facilitating all aspects of KCSI. Making sure that honesty, integrity and character of KCSI is of the highest standards.
In an ever-changing industry, finding new and more efficient ways to get the projects done is the mark of an innovative company. Kay, along with the rest of the employees of KCSI, make this our goal in hopes of providing the best service and value that we can for our Clients.
Chad joined KCSI in 2013, he began working with KCSI as an Estimator and Project Manager. Chad has been a steadfast employee, working with clients and subcontractors with integrity and confidence. Working hard to complete projects on time and in budget.
Chad has demonstrated high levels of communication, organizational skills and integrity. He was promoted in 2022 to Chief Operations Officer. He is responsible for all aspects of operations at KCSI along with Project Management and Estimating projects.
Toby joined KCSI 2011, he joined the KCSI team working as a superintendent overseeing day to day projects in the field. Over his years working with KCSI he has learned all aspects of the construction process which led to his transition into Project Management and Senior Estimating.
Toby spends time with clients to understand their project goals and works with them to make sure the project is completed in a timely manner and on budget. The years of experience that Toby has in the field helps him offer creative solutions to questions that come during a project.
Kim joined KCSI in 2019; before working with us Kim was an Executive Chef. She opened and ran high profile restaurants in the Chicago area. She joined KCSI with high skills in communications, organizational skills, leadership and office management. She is responsible for all day-to-day operations; works with the Owners, Project Managers, Estimators, Project Superintendent and Field team, along with Clients and subcontractors. Kim controls all aspects of the office and maintains high standards to represent KCSI with integrity and honesty.
Andrew McConnell joined KCSI in 2007 as a Temporary Labor and has worked his way up to Project Superintendent. As Project Superintendent, Andrew is a steadfast leader for the company. His job is to manage and oversee projects in the field, coordinate and schedule subcontractors, making sure we are on schedule and work is done to the owner’s and KCSI standards. Another important part of his job is to support and coordinate our field team ensuring site safety and communication are up to the highest standards.
